Breakthrough Drug for Acne Remains High-Risk

  The breakthrough acne drug has been receiving positive results from around the world, though the Food and Drug Authority in the United States is still cautioning people of its use. The popular drug, often known as the acne drug has some adverse side effects that include, of all things, depression that ranges from mild euphoria to extreme clinical depression.


There is no contesting the fact that indeed, the new drug can deliver on the grounds that it can make even the most severe cases of acne go away. Its just that what kind of side effects are we looking at here, and what is the price we have to pay for clearer and more radiant skin, free of painful lesions?

What Acne Takes Away

In both adults and teenagers, acne takes away self esteem, pride in ones self and of course, self confidence. The inability to mingle well with other people because we are much too aware of the lesions on our skin is socially crippling, and may lead to other problems later on in life.
